Georgia's Largest Girls' AAU Club
The Georgia Pistols organization is one of the oldest and largest of the girls' AAU clubs in the Georgia District of AAU and has operated for more than 15 years in the Atlantametropolitan area. In a given year, the Pistols operates AAU teams in various age groups to compete in the Georgia State Championships held each April and May and usually have teams finishing 1st, 2nd or 3rd .
A major goal of the organization is to field highly competitive teams each year that will qualify for national AAU tournaments and play at a high level in other elite national basketball tournaments. The Pistols is characterized as a regional rather than local organization or neighborhood club. The Pistols is a volunteer non-profit organization. The Pistols have a well developed college exposure event with over 75 girls who have received college scholarships. See the list of some our formmer players under college players.

We are the leading club in winning State Championships and the only top club with secondary teams. Besides top Gold teams we have the best developmental team program in the State which allows all players to play at their right level which may change during their season with improvement.
The number of girls from our program getting college scholarships goes up every year and most are shown on our web site. Each year many pistols get D-1 and D-2 college scholarships at some of the great colleges in America. Some of our players who are listed on the top national recruiting lists are lined up to play with the Ga. Pistols for 2008. Developing players to play at the college level is one of the areas where our program excels. We are committed to helping girls get college scholarships and to preparing them to play at the next level.
Through coaching and good competition we want to take each player to the next level. A detailed mission statement is on our web page.
